Growingforest is a collection Heerim envisioned, showcasing her own plates and flower pots that embrace endless possibilities and love. As she navigates through life, sometimes she has some moments when she feels the need for a more open-minded approach towards people and a broader perspective to receive the wonderful gifts the universe has in store for her. So, to welcome more blessings into her life, she realized the importance of clearing mind, cultivating humility, and fostering an embracing heart. ︠♡
In this context, in Korea, people metaphorically compare the mind to plates. And inspired by this philosophy, I conceived the the growingforest project as a personal journey to elevate my own "plate of mind” and become a better and humble person. The name “growing”forest signifies the continual growth and development of the “glowing”forest(=Heerim)’s growing plate(=mind).
