Growingforest is a collection I envisioned, showcasing my own plates and flower pots that embrace endless possibilities and love. As I navigate through life, sometimes I have some moments when I feel the need for a more open-minded approach towards people and a broader perspective to receive the wonderful gifts the universe has in store for me. So, to welcome more blessings into my life, I realized the importance of clearing mind, cultivating humility, and fostering an embracing heart.
In this context, in Korea, people metaphorically compare the mind to plates. And inspired by this philosophy, I conceived the the growingforest project as a personal journey to elevate my own "plate of mind” and become a better and humble person. The name “growing”forest signifies the continual growth and development of the “glowing”forest(=my name)’s growing plate(=mind).
